The year was 1929, when the terrazzo business was started in Herrljunga. In the 1960s, Herrljunga Cementgjuteri became part of Strängbetong, which in 2002 in an outsourcing process led to Herrljunga Terrazzo 

Design AB becoming an independent company.

Since then, the company has had a steady growth and is today Scandinavia's leading terrazzo company.

In 2020, we entered into an exclusive cooperation with Terrazzo Danmark ApS and togetherwe are steadily working our way to become the primary supplier of precast terrazzo in the Danish market.

Our target group is all creative souls who share terrazzo’s many fantastic options. We therefore work closely with leading architects, interior designers, designers, artists and private individuals.
